I am a designer and I love it. For me design is about employing art, engineering and research to find a solution for an existing problem. I started this journey from architecture.

At 2008 I started studying architecture at one of the best architecture schools of my country, Iran. It was where I learned basics of design for human needs. I learned about human psychology and how design elements like forms, colors, light, graphics and so many other things affect it. The more I learned the more I found myself engaged in the design.

After graduation, I started working as a designer and experienced designing real world projects for people to use them. It was the first time that I found empathizing with people can help so much at making a design more meaningful. I learned that design is a team work and many disciplines should collaborate to turn a problem into a achievement. My works were published on architecture media like CAOI.ir and Archdaily.com.

When I got familiar with user experience design, I found it so much similar to what I was doing with a difference that made me think more and that was the excessive focus on user-centered design. It was a fascinating field and as a practicing designer, I found myself confident at transitioning to design for experiences.

At this time I am following my passion for user experience design at the Information School at University of Texas at Austin and I am really enjoying it.
